LWVCO Findings on the Status of Behavioral Health in Colorado

Behavioral Health Task Force

The Behavioral Health Task Force of the League of Women Voters of Colorado (LWVCO) studied behavioral health issues in the state in 2013 and 2014. In May of 2014 the Task Force reported back to the LWVCO Board of Directors with behavioral health policy and practice recommendations for the state. The report was updated in August 2015 in time for local Leagues to address the issue in a study of the issue and decide on whether LWVCO should update its position on Health Care. The Task Force recommendations can be found in their report.

In 2015, in consideration of the recommendations of local Leagues in Colorado, the LWVCO Board took a position on behavioral health. The position is now listed with the LWVCO health care position and can be read here.
