My Own Words - Pikes Peak Political Readers.
Pikes Peak Political Readers will be discussing "The Common Good" by Robert Reich at our May meeting. Please join us on 5/8/18 from 10:30 + noon at Library 21C in room B2. In "The Common Good", Robert B. Reich makes the case for a generous, inclusive understanding of the American project, centering on the moral obligations of citizenship. Rooting his argument in everyday reality and common sense, Reich demonstrates the existence of a common good, and argues that it is this that defines a society or a nation. Guests are always welcome at our book club meetings. |
