Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy.

Celebrating Women's Right to Vote!

Learn About League's

Suffrage Mural Project

Attention all Members! LWVPPR will join our community in Juneteenth celebrations at America the Beautiful Park this weekend. We will have a table at the park on Saturday, June 19, to promote voting and voter registration - and to share information about the League.

We could use your help in staffing the table! We’re asking for members and friends to sign up for two-hour shifts. If you're able to join us, please visit our sign-up page to schedule a couple of hours to help out.

For more Information about the Juneteenth event, which also takes place on Friday and Sunday, visit: https://www.csjuneteenthfestival.com

You can also learn more about Juneteenth and the event in our LWVPPR Podcast! LWVPPR Spokesperson Shelly Roehrs got the details from Juneteenth organizer Jennifer Smith. Jennifer is also co-founder of OneBody ENT.

Hope to see you Saturday!
