LWVPPR Advocacy Team Monthly Meeting

This Team is involved in advocating for our rights and our community - in short, it's defending democracy.  The League of Women Voters is known for its grassroots organizing and its study of issues before taking action. League positions may be taken at the local, state, and national level League use its positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest and this is the group that takes action. Commitments vary from a few minutes to a few hours a month, from making a phone call to express an opinion to an elected official to organizing events.
